Completed in 2010, this 200,000 sq.ft., $40 million, addition to the Student Wellness and Recreation Facility included an indoor track with floor to ceiling windows surrounding it, two new gymnasiums, large area on two floors for free weight training and fitness machines, 5,400 square feet devoted to specialized forms of conditioning such as aerobics and martial arts, a 3,000 square foot human performance laboratory, a 20,000 square foot indoor turf field, rock climbing wall, varsity gymnastics training room, spaces for gathering and socializing, and offices.
Acoustical consulting included HVAC noise control engineering and room acoustics modeling and acoustical finishes recommendations for all spaces.
